These kid-friendly cookies are a cinch to make.
Makes 12
Ingredients:
125g (5oz) butter or soft margarine
175g (7oz) plain flour
50g (2oz) caster sugar
a few drops natural vanilla extract
300g tub EasyIce Royal Icing
Ready to Roll Coloured Icing (red and black)
Silver balls
lolly pop sticks
Method
1 Preheat oven to 180°C/ 350°F/ Gas Mark 4 and grease two baking sheets.
2 Put the butter or margarine and caster sugar in a mixing bowl and beat well.
3 Mix in the flour and natural vanilla extract until the mixture starts to stick together.
4 Bring the biscuit dough together using your hands and place onto a floured board.
5 Roll out the dough to approx. ½ cm thick and, using a round cutter, stamp out the biscuits.
6 Transfer them onto the greased baking sheets and carefully push a lolly pop stick into each biscuit.
7 Bake in a preheated oven for 10 minutes. Transfer them to a cooling rack and allow to cool.
8 Roll out the ready to roll red icing and cut out shapes to resemble ‘Santa’s hat’ (use the round cutter as a guide). Place one onto each biscuit.
9 Reserve the trimmings to make his ‘mouth’.
10 Prepare the easyIce royal icing according to the pack instructions. Spoon the icing along the bottom half of each biscuit to resemble ‘Santa’s beard’ and along the edge of his hat, pulling it into peaks as you go.
11 Finish with two small circles of ready to roll black icing, topped with a silver ball for the ‘eyes’ and place the red ‘mouth’ on the ‘beard’.

Umas bolachinhas bem divertidas de fazer para a pequenada.
Quantidade 12

125g de margarina ou manteiga amolecida
175g de farinha sem fermento
50g de açúcar refinado
umas gotitas de extracto de baunilha
300g de icing branco, de compra
pasta fondant vermelha e preta, de compra
bolinhas de açucar prateadas
pauzinhos para gelados
Método
1 Preaqueça o forno a 180°C/Gás 4 e ólear dois tabuleiros de forno.
2 Coloque a manteiga / margarina e o açúcar numa tigela e bata bem.
3 Adicione a farinha ao extrato natural de baunilha e misture bem.
4 Adicionar tudo e trabalhar a massa sobre uma superfície enfarinhada.
5 Estenda a massa aprox. com ½ cm de espessura e, usando um cortador redondo, cortar as bolachinhas.
6 Transfira-as para os tabuleiros e pressione um pauzinho para gelados em cada bolachinha.
7 Asse em forno pré-aquecido durante 10 minutos. Transfira-as para uma grelha de cozinha e deixe arrefecerem por completo.
8 Com a pasta fondant vermelha faça o chapeuzinho e a boca do pai natal.
9 Coloque-os em cada bolacha.
10 Prepare o icing branco de acordo com as instruções da embalagem. Espalhe o icing branco de modo a fazer as barbas do pai natal e a decore o chapéu.
11 Com a pasta fondant preta corte circulos pretos pequenos para fazer os olhos e coloque uma bolinha de açucar prateada por cima.
Unas galletitas muy divertidas de hacer para los más pequeños.
Cantidad 12
Ingredientes:
125 g de mantequilla, ablandada
175g de harina sin levadura
50g de azúcar
uas gotitas de extracto de vainilla
300 g de icing blanco (glaseado), de compra
pasta fondant rojo y negro, de compra
bolitas de azúcar plateadas
palitos de helado
Método
1 Precaliente el horno a 180°C/Gas 4 y engrasa dos bandejas de horno.
2 En un bol batir bien la mantequilla y el azúcar.
3 Agregar la harina al extracto de vainilla y mezcle bien.
4 Mezclar todo y amasar la masa sobre una superficie enharinada.
5 Una vez que la masa está lista se estira aproximadamente con ½cm de espesor y, usando un cortador redondo, corte las galletas.
6 Colocar las galletas sobre las bandejas de horno y con cuidado empujar un palito de helado en cada galleta.
7 Hornear durante 10 minutos y despues transferir las galletas a una rejilla y deje enfriar completamente.
8 Con el fondant rojo haga los sombreritos y la boca de Santa Claus.
9 Colóquelos en cada una de las galletas.
10 Preparar el glaseado blanco de acuerdo a las instrucciones del paquete. Decore las galletas con el glaseado (haga la barba blanca de Santa Claus). Decore los sombreros con un poquito de glaseado blanco.
11 Con el fondant negro, hacer pequeños círculos que van a ser los ojos y decorar con una bolita de azúcar plateada.
